Facing pet cancer is often a devastating and confusing time for pet owners! With 1 in 5 dogs and 1 in 4 cats cited as developing cancer at some point over their lifetime, thousands of pet guardians face the dreaded diagnosis every year.

While there are many wonderful professionals and other helpful organizations available to help support pets facing cancer (such as veterinary and/or oncologist care and financial assistance for treatment), Kali’s Wish Cancer Foundation is the first and only registered charity in Canada solely dedicated to helping pet guardians and their families facing pet cancer and loss.

          IN THIS SESSION:

  • Discover (or rediscover!) Kali’s Wish and how they can work with you to help support your clients.
  • Learn about the FREE resources, services, and programs Kali’s Wish has to offer.
  • Participate in a discovery session to share your valuable front-line insights and feedback.

As the Community Outreach Manager of Kali’s Wish, Holly oversees the foundation’s community outreach Initiatives, including community social service partnerships to support vulnerable populations, exploring collaborative opportunities with other organizations who also work with and support pets and pet owners facing pet cancer, increasing volunteer engagement, and participating in community events – all with the goal of increasing awareness and reach to support pet guardians and families facing pet cancer.

Outside of work, Holly’s interests and focus includes mentoring and volunteering – and her teenaged son and daughter who both love animals “great and small” (their words!) and are active in hockey and equine eventing respectively.
