PRESENTER: Dr. Lluis Ferré-Dolcet, Dipl. ECAR; PhD; MSc; DVM

Lluis graduated as a veterinarian in 2011. He went on to earn a Master’s degree in 2012 and his first PhD in 2016. Lluis completed a second PhD on the control of feline reproduction using short- and long-acting GnRH compounds at the University of Padua in 2020.From 2017 to 2020, he completed a residency in Animal Reproduction under the
supervision of Dr. Stefano Romagnoli at the University of Padua, leading to his European Diploma from the European College of Animal Reproduction in November 2021. In January 2021, he founded and led the Reproduction, Obstetrics, and Neonatology Unit at the San
Marco Veterinary Clinic in Padua, Italy, a role he held until March 2024. Currently, he serves as the Head of the Small Animal Reproduction Department at AniCura Ars Veterinaria in Barcelona, Spain. Lluis was elected to the Board of the European Society of Small Animal
Reproduction in 2022, where he now serves as Board Secretary. His main areas of interest include the use of deslorelin, the physiology and pathology of the canine prostate, feline reproductive endocrinology, and the long-term effects of surgical sterilization.
