PRESENTER: Alice Lee, DVM, PhD, DACVM (Parasitology)
Dr. Alice Lee is a 2006 graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College. In 2016, she completed her PhD in parasitology at Cornell University and became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Microbiologists. She is an assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where she teaches parasitology to DVM students in their first, third, and fourth years of the curriculum. She is also coordinator for a graduate-level course in the Responsible Conduct of Research. Her research interests include canine
hookworm resistance, novel applications for endoscopic imaging in GI helminth studies, and zoonotic diseases. Dr. Lee serves on various committees for the UF CVM as well as the American Association of Veterinary Parasitologists. She is also one of the experts on the Canadian Parasitology Expert Panel (CPEP).
