Megan graduated from Lakeland College in 2013, she spent the first 3.5 years of her career at an equine surgical practice in Sherwood Park and then 4 years at an equine sports medicine focused practice north of Airdrie. Megan obtained her certification in equine rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee in 2019, joining the team at Moore Equine Veterinary Centre at the beginning of 2021. She spent her first 2 years at Moore working alongside Dr. Fowlie and has spent the last 2 years at the racetrack working with the standardbred racehorses alongside Dr. Cook and Dr. Lamond. Megan has experience from managing breeding programs to being the PIPS director at the first 2 clinics she worked for, but her heart is in ambulatory practice, lameness, rehab and anesthesia.
