Speaker: Terri Johnson, RVT

Terri Johnson completed her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta in 2001, she then went on to work with exotic animals for two years, and in 2005, she graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at NAIT and has worked her entire RVT career at companion animal practices in Edmonton. In 2019, she completed the Veterinary Practice Management Certificate through Olds College and has found she enjoys the business side of veterinary medicine as well as the regulatory side due to the fact she also spent three years with the ABVMA Complaints Review Committee. Further fueling the regulatory itch, in 2021, Terri accepted a position at the ABVMA as part of the team of RVTs that make up the practice inspection and practice standards department. Committed to continuing to foster positive relationships with members, Terri’s favourite part of her job is getting to talk to her colleagues in practice and answering questions about all things PIPS.
