Purina scientists have dedicated more than 10 years to researching how to manage a major cat allergen. These breakthrough findings can transform how people manage allergies to cats while keeping the cat in the home.

Following the scientific presentation, Dr. Laura Hartney (Veterinary Communications Manager from Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets) will briefly discuss the relevant diet, Purina Pro Plan LiveClear.

Speaker: Dr. Carol Hung, Veterinary Communications Manager, Nestle Purina PetCare Canada


Dr. Carol Hung earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, graduating with distinction in 2015. After graduation, she worked in general practice at several busy clinics in London, Caledon and Toronto. While in clinical practice, she developed strong interests in nutrition, dermatology, and internal medicine. She joined the Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets team in December 2019, following a desire to focus on nutrition. She greatly enjoys lecturing and coaching her fellow veterinary professionals on how to confidently discuss nutrition with pet families. Outside of work, she lives in Toronto with her husband (Kevin) and cat (Ramone).
