Speaker: Heather Quilty, RVT, B.ED, GDBA

Heather Quilty is a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who prioritizes education and exploration in her career. She takes pride in being an RVT first and has enjoyed the various opportunities this designation has brought her way. Heather has held diverse roles in companion and farm animal practice, management, and recruiting. Throughout her journey, she has pursued formal education multiple times, earning a Bachelor of Education (Post-secondary) and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. She has also just completed a Masters in Employment Relations. Recently, Heather devoted herself to establishing and supporting a new veterinary technician program in St. John’s, Newfoundland. As a staunch advocate for RVTs and veterinary teams, she aims to make a 20-year veteran the norm rather than the exception.
