ABVTA Radiation Safety Week Webinar - Equine Radiation Safety and Image Optimization

November 6 - 12, 2022 marks ABVTA Radiation Safety Week.

With increasing caseloads and staffing challenges, our personal radiation safety may not always be top of mind. Veterinary professionals are exposed to radiation on a daily basis.

Your safety is justifiable, lets work together to reduce occupational radiation exposure of veterinary professionals through innovation and education.

This year's focus will be on increasing our knowledge and expertise surrounding technique, positioning and anatomy to decrease the need for repeat images, thus decreasing radiation exposure for RVTs.

The ABVTA will be hosting two webinars throughout the week. November 8th we will be discussing radiation safety for equine technologists and increasing image optimization.

This session will focus on practical “tips and tricks” on how get the best possible image with the least risk to anyone involved.

Registration is complimentary for all ABVTA members. All members of the veterinary team are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Registration opens: October 11, 2022
Registration closes November 6, 2022

This course is pending approval for 1.5 hours of CE credit.
